On Tuesday, January 16, Natalie Chavez from Jacob Wiens Elementary School was recognized with the Good Apple Award during the Hemet Unified Board Meeting.
The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) provides all children at Jacob Wiens with a variety of free, fresh fruits and vegetables during the school day. It is an effective and creative way of introducing fresh fruits and vegetables as healthy snack options. Read more to access the menu.
