Assistant Principal's Message
Parents, Guardians, Students, and Community Members,
I am HONORED to join the Jacob Wiens family for the 23-24 school year, and am proud to be your Assistant Principal. Working alongside Mrs. Sunderland, I am eager to give you my all and continue to build on the strong foundation at JWES.
I have been lucky to serve Southern California as a public school teacher and principal for two decades now, and look forward to supporting our Hemet community! I believe that ALL students can achieve on both an academic and social-emotional level, and we need to set HIGH expectations for learning and developing into critical thinkers.
I also live in Riverside County with my beautiful wife, Anna, and my two awesome 1st-grade and 4th-grade kids. In my free time I enjoy fishing, barbecuing, hip hop, and spending time with my little family.

Me siento honrado de unirme a la familia Jacob Wiens para el año escolar 23-24 y estoy orgulloso de ser su sub-director. Trabajando junto a la Directora, Sra. Sunderland, estoy ansiosa por darle todo y continuar construyendo sobre la base sólida de JWES.
He tenido la suerte de servir en el sur de California como maestro y director de una escuela pública durante dos décadas, ¡y espero poder apoyar a nuestra comunidad de Hemet! Creo que TODOS los estudiantes pueden lograr logros tanto a nivel académico como socioemocional, y debemos establecer ALTAS expectativas para aprender y desarrollarnos como pensadores críticos.
También vivo en el condado Riverside con mi hermosa esposa, Anna, y mis dos maravillosos hijos de 1 y 4 grado. En mi tiempo gratis, disfruto de la pesca, la barbacoa, el hip hop y pasar tiempo con mi pequeña familia.
